Peyronie’s Disease: Non-Surgical Treatment

Browse the content

Peyronie’s Disease has some non-surgical treatments that can solve the patient’s problem. To make you aware of these treatments, I have prepared a series of three videos and blogs explaining what these treatments are and in which cases they are used.

In this blog, you will learn the solution to Peyronie’s Disease through medication treatment.

What is Peyronie’s Disease

Described by the French physician François de La Peyronie in 1943, Peyronie’s Disease is a condition whose main characteristic is penile deformity, through the emergence of fibrosis that results in the curvature, shortening, and thinning of the organ. It has two phases, the initial where there is a beginning of inflammation and the chronic phase, where the curvature reaches the chronic stage.

Is there a medicine for Peyronie’s Disease?

The clinical treatment for Peyronie’s Disease is carried out during the first symptoms of the disease. Therefore, we always advise our patients to seek medical guidance as soon as they notice something wrong with the physiology of their penis. Thus, they can make use of medication treatment.

If the patient does not seek help in the first symptoms of Peyronie’s Disease, the curvature may become more pronounced, and the indicated treatment becomes surgical.

Does Peyronie’s medication work?

Medication treatments do not guarantee ideal functioning in all patients. That is, the medications may work in some patients and not in others. Therefore, we reinforce the advice: If you have noticed changes in the physiology of your penis or feel pain, seek help.

I wrote an E-book about Peyronie’s Disease with everything you need to know about the disease. To access it, click here.

What is Peyronie’s medication for?

When the patient is at the beginning of the disease, presenting the first symptoms, the clinical medication treatment is prescribed with the intention of seeking the disease’s stability. That is, to prevent the curvature and other symptoms from progressing.

The medication treatment also serves to prevent Peyronie’s Disease from affecting the quality of the patient’s penetration and the escapes that can result in more fibrosis.

Therefore, the clinical treatment is indicated to ensure the proper functioning of the penis despite the curvature, which is one of the causes of Peyronie’s Disease.

If you have noticed that the physiology of your penis is different or have felt pain during erection, send us a message on WhatsApp or fill out the form on the website. We will be pleased to assist you with discretion and security.
